In the wood 2

Still in the wood, this time in color. Grew up close to the wood, in the middle of one almost. Now I live by the sea and I sometimes miss it.  Can´t rember spending musch time there when I was young. But perhpas thats just it: it was there and therefor I miss it now when it´s not.
This will be printed and exhibited at stockholm firniture fair next week!

Wallpapers out now!

These wallpapers are finally out at Mr Perswall. They namned the forst one firwork and the other one Passionate ink. My name for the first one was icon, do you remember when I worked on it?
The other one I have always called "pin-up"cause when I got the brief they said I should do something with old tatoos and so I did.

Tonight I will teach in google hangout, I have a class thats based on the internet in making patterns and now we will meet. Online!

Gone

I am not here. I am working on coming back but I needed a break. Mostly because I´m fed up with myself and my work. I´m serously questioning what I´m doing and why? There is no future for me in patterndesign here in sweden, they (my patterns) are impossible to sell.Now I have started a drawingbook with unselling patterns and it feels good. I´ll show u soon.

This is an exiting week. Tomorrow I will get some samples for the traytable that Karin and I are doing. And on friday I will get some textiles that I designed for one of Karins lamps. And there will textile for some pillows aswell. And next week we are exhibiting at Formex.

Editing

Lots and lots of work with a pattern if you, like me, are a line freak. First looking for the idea, then finding some inspiration, sketching (quite new for me but saves me alot of re-starting and cutting) then drawing with ink. scanning and then editing and coloring in photoshop. About 3 weeks work.
Now it´s been decided, I´m getting a cintiq. And a new BIG screen. Cause I´m worth it.
