To be creative there has to be a mess?

During christmas my kids more or less stopped sleeping in the middle of the day. My best drawing hour is gone. Today we did get some rest and instead of cleaning my all-the-time-ongoing-mess I started a drawing. I will show you tomorrow!

Beautiful grandparents

We are back after almost a week in Värmland. Some great days with alot of love!
I think I broke my back today. I don´t know if it was during the four hour drive alone with two wild kids or during the operation trying to unlock one of the cardoors that was froozen...

Preparing for christmas

Today we made some "julgranskarameller", I don´t know the english word. It´s like a present filled with candy that we hang in the tree and then, when it´s time to take down everything you have a "julgransplundring" and eat it all.
Here is a description of julgransplundring that I found at sweden.se:

"Swedes never miss an opportunity to dance round a tree, and on tjugondag Knut (twenty days after Christmas Eve), the traditional Julgransplundring (Christmas tree plundering) is as much about staying warm as marking the end of the holiday with a final song and dance before being reminded of the cold, dark midwinter. A little helper

Today I had a little sick helper at school, she didn´t have a fever, just a running nose. But still, so tired after just one hour. Had to run home after lunch so that the poor little thing could get some proper sleep.
Göteborg, as green as ever. Can we please get some snow soon!

Wallpaper collection

So finally, let me present to you: my first collection of patterns! The black one , that I call islands, I show u repeted as well. Middle one I´m just not pleased with the result so I prefer showing it as an image. Top one you saw repeted a cuple of days ago. It´s possible to click and get original size on your screen!
I feel that atleast the top pattern would work much better as a textile then wallpaers, cause of the scale.
Now, after a cuple of days and yesterdays presentation, I feel pleased. If not for the result, so for all the work I put in and all the knowlegde I gained!

Tired, but happy.

The presentation is done, have to show u another day cause I´m so tired... But it was great. I am so pleased with this internship and so happy that I got to know Lidia who also had an internship. Thank you Sandbergs!
This evening we finally made some christmas decoration at home, the kids just loved it!

One day with my mum

My mother came, we had a great time (as always) and then she left. Just a short visit.
We went to Liseberg and it was cold but nice. It really gives that special christmas feeling:) And then we stayed up half the night and watched Mamma Mia. I loved it, Because of the music... ABBA is just something else!
