My way to work

This is a drawing that I made a cuple of weeks ago. I like parts of it so I thought I shoud make a poster/pattern out of it. In color.

First I had to change the size. In my project I work with 40*40 cm and original drawing was only a4. And as you can see I have big problems keeping to my original drawing.

Another test with some colors. How will I coor it? will I use black lines and then color it, or just markers?
After testscanning and trying out the pattern (in the computer) I had to bring the birds apart, it didn´t work well as a pattern when they where connected.

Nothing works. Cut and throw around the pieces. Trying to figure out something.

Almost starting from zero but I think (thanks to Lidia) that I got the pattern-part solved now. Only the composition in the poster that has to work! I´ll keep you posted...

Marie-Louise: det är som en berg och dalbana det där med kreativiteten. opp och ner, ner och opp...
Tiny Red: it´s intresting to work with squares and in this project I´m working with rotation of the squares aswell. It´s a hard task!
Esti: thanks:)

Your drawings are so strong, you are in such great practice. It's like your marks have such a sureness about them, just beautiful. Makes me want to draw.

Tack Anne!
Kimberley, go ahead and draw! It´s interesting what you are saying about my lines cause in the beginning of my art education my teachers complained alot about the fact that I was to certain. it was really hard for me to try and be "more uncertain" and therefor I don´t draw with nonpermanent pens etc. It´s like part of the drawing, to let the lines decid what happens next!
