We are going to London:)

In the autumn, almost as certain as the leaves fall, I start crafting. It´s something with the dark, the chaitea and watching "the desperate housewifes".
Parts of Myrkott got a travelscolarship, we are going to LONDON to visit "the kids trade show, bubble"!

Baking and reading

The weekend was filled with work. Today it baking day, can´t resist all these apples just laying around. And reading magazines. (and also sending in all those applications from last week.) New issue of family living and Ulrikas work at the first page, nice:)

A mistake that took one day to repair!

Yesterday, after several days work on this pattern, I realized that I had made the whole thing wrong. So today I had some boring patchwork to do. But everything bad comes with something good. The "owl" got a new, better tail.
Have a great weekend and I hope I can show you some new and better work on monday!

Oh, just had to add a link after visiting Alexandra hedbergs blog, I just love the work of Francis Bacon and this tour, without actually visiting the Tate, is fantastic!

Memory lane

One year ago we visited Gotland. Looking at these pictures I can still feel the smell of the ocean and the autumn. I wish there where time to go now. But no, to much work.

Today is a day of writing applications! Applying for this and a design job here, and this. And also slöjdföreningens scolarship.

Without the kids

Yesterday the kids went over to their grandparents for a sleepover. I had time for some drawing. Then they came back and everything was as usual. Preparing food and making everything ready for a new week.

Some pictures from yesterdays and todays work at school. I do enjoy the fact that I get work done over there. But now it´s weekend!

Now it´s already kind of late, and the plans are perhaps already made (like mine, I have a nice date with my pillow!). But if u wanna go and listen to some great bands in gothenburg, go here, and go NOW.

Myrkott in Borås!

Forgott to tell you: Today you can buy Myrkott stuff in Borås at the fairtrade market there! Follow Myrkott and Wherka via this link, live at the market:)

on our walls

Annika asked what was on my walls. First thought: nothing, cause it´s impossible to drill here. I´ve got the most wonderfull things down in the basement that I just miss so much...
But here we go:
1. Wonderful prints from Niklas Holm
2. Pinocchio doll
3. Hangers from Åhléns, necklace that my daughter made
4. ALOT of mail
5. Childrens drawing, and more toys
6. IKEA PS locker for multimedia
7. Shadow from the curtain that my mother made.
8. Old vinyl covers.
9. Photos.
10. Paintings by the same Niklas, poster that was a present to the children from their aunt.
11. And what most of our walls are covered with: bookshelves.
I tag Kimberley, Sara and Karin.

Changing theme

I had to change the theme for my project. Right now I don´t feel that gothenburg is inspiring at all, just rain, rain, rain. So I´m gonna work with the swedish fauna instead (with that I mean both animals and growing things). Eating my favourite choklate, wearing my best sweatpants and sobbing a bit:(

Really nice link via sandra.
