Unpredictable weather

We are preparing the swedish national dish tacos. I used to work in a food store and every friday all swedes have tacos. Now It's vaccation so tuesday is like friday!

Trying to live here and now.

First day of last vaccation week. And also the week when I turn 37. In my head I turned 37 the day after I turned 36 and in my head the vaccation is already over.
I´m used to work alot and to relax and do nothing is very hard for me. I always have 3 different jobs besides freelancing. Right now I´m part time employed as a graphic designer here, working part time as an art teacher (for seventh graders) at a school and teaching pattern design, grapic design and illustration here. All togather it´s about +100%. So vaccation is mostly about trying to catch-up with my comissions and other freelancing activitys and hanging with the kids. Tomorrow I will make a plan so that this autumn will be calmer for me, put up some nice goals to acchive. Are you good at planning?

Editing and testing colors in photoshop. Thinking about getting myself an cintiq, but still not sure if it´s for me. Perhaps I am to much of an control freak when it comes to lines?

A day with Alexandra

I spent the day with Alexandra in her studio, it was super duper nice!

Studioevening on the roof!

Summer is here and the studio is like a sauna, very hot. As an extra luxury we can hang out on the roof instead. Yesternight I did, in spendid company!

Exhibitions!

 

We went to Värmland to celebrate that my father turned sixty. It was nice to see the family and while we where there I managed to hang my exhibition here.

I am a new member of the board of svensk form väst and right now I am working, on their behalf, with the exhibition "västragötaland goes Milano goes Röhsska" that is opening on saturday. I like running projects, almost as much as drawing:)

 This week I have been teaching three of four nights. Tonight: Pattern in Illustrator.

Weekend at the summerhouse

 

Yesterday V arranged a vote: who wants to live in gothenburg and who wants to live at Tjörn? And who wants a bigger house? All four voted for Tjörn and a bigger house. So I guess we better start thinking about leaving the city!
