On swedish ground again!

We are back home after 4 days in London! So many impressions in such short time. It was great. I will show you some pictures tomorrow:)

Sadly I erased the pictures I took on day one, so There will be nothing from Bubble, but I think Kristin will post some over at themyrkottblog, but probably not until tomorrow. I liked the olilybags the most and I must say that the whole experience of Bubble was kind of lame, and everything looked the same.

Julgransplundring

Today we went to a very traditional party where we got rid of the christmas tree (julgransplundring in swedish, don´t even know if there is a english word?). You dance around the tree, the children get alot of candy and santa made his last stop. My son loves music and dancing and was absolutley thrilled about the whole thing. My daughter finally said hello to santa after crying as soon as she saw him during christmas, and she was so proud!
Tomorrow I´m going to London so I´ll be off for a cuple of days.

The Myrkott site is translated to english, there is a new shop (very limited to start with.) And a new blogg. Welcome!

Ornament book

This week I´ve been going through books with ornaments, butterflies, birds and insects. I need inspiration, and I feel like doing something different this time.

Going to London!

First week of scetching for my graduation project. I´m stuck! I´m going to London next week, hopefully I will be totally filled with inspiration.
So people, what would you recommend that I would do in London?

Laying on nails!

I have just spent 15 minutes on this Russia acupressure mat that I bought for my man for christmas. Amazing thing. Hurts like hell when you first lay down, and then: soooo relaxing. I almost fell asleep!

Finally everyone is back on their feet again. It was a hard week and I´m happy that it´s over. have a happy weekend!

I´m bored!

I havn´t been outside the door for three days. Today I have no fever but now my little girl got it instead. Poor little thing. Both kids are asleep and I feel like drawing but the cold took my inspiration, have to find it again...

Still have a cold

It´s cold outside, very cold for gothenburg. I spent the day inside with alot of tea and looking through our dirty windows. The kids are obsessed with Bamse and thats the best thing they have liked so far!

Fine little Elisabeth put a banner for myrkott on her blog, so sweet of her! For those of you that are interested in Mykott there will soon be a translated homepage and a shop, and thats just great!

Jenny klemming

Still havn´t showed you my finds from the hdk christmasmarket. This ring was made by talanted Jenny Klemming. It´s perfect, great looking and with an idea behind it!

Today I´ve got the worst cold ever. High fever and a running nose:(

Not that much empty space anywhere!

Going through old stuff today and I found these 3 year old pictures from our old apartment. One room and a kitchen, 4 people. We moved in april, when the kids where about 5 months.

I look back

Inspired by other blogs I post 12 random pictures from 2008. This blog is so much fun for me, much more than ever I ever expected. When I started my blog in April I had no expectations and now I´m thrilled about this whole new "world" that has opend up! Thank you all for visiting and thanks for all your sweet comments. Next time I´ll post it will be 2009, amazing! I hope 2009 will be a great year for all of us...

To be creative there has to be a mess?

During christmas my kids more or less stopped sleeping in the middle of the day. My best drawing hour is gone. Today we did get some rest and instead of cleaning my all-the-time-ongoing-mess I started a drawing. I will show you tomorrow!
