This message is for my swedish readers, it´s about my upcoming workshops at Art collage this spring!

Den här våren undervisar jag i följande kurser på Art collage, folkuniversitet:
Illustration grundkurs, en kurs som passar dig som vill känna på olika illustrationstekniker och lära dig om material och maner.
Det finns en fortsättningskurs som lämpar sig för dig som tecknat en del och vill odla ditt eget formspråk/uttryck, särskilt bra passar den dig som jobbar med ansökningsprover.
Vill man ha en koncentrerad djupdykning i illustration, med stora möjligheter att utveckla sig själv, passar den här helgworkshopen fint!

Jag håller i 2 olika helg mönsterworkshops, en med enklare mönster och en med mer avancerade.
På kvällskolan i Grafisk Design gör jag några gästspel, likaså på inredning och design kvällskolan.

We are home again, very relaxed and happy.  Long walks, good food, training, baths, massage, floating and just spending time togather is not an everyday luxury around here.

My man turns 40 today. Yesterday we celebrated him all day and now we are relaxing at Varbergs kurort for a cuple of days.

Different nibs

As a part of my giveaway you can win 4 fineliners from letraset. The nibs are  0,1  0,3  0,5 and 0,7. When I draw my black and white drawings I use different kind of nibs to get a various feeling in the drawing and also play with scale and perspective in a effordless way. Most important for me is to have a very thin one and also a thicker one. I would love it if they came up to 1,5 or something, but I havn´t found any brand that has fineliners that is that thick. Have you?

Maska

At Julform I bought my first Maska cardigan and I´ve been using it almost every day since. I´m sure there will be a second one in my wardrobe soon, especially as they have a sale!

DONE!

Today: finally finished with the book, sending it to the printer tomorrow. And tomorrow I´m going to the studio, first time 2011. Soooo looking forward to that!

New books

Yesterday two books that I have been waiting for forever finally arrived, Vitamin D by Emma dexter and The Circus Book 1870-1950. Now all I need is some time to dive into them!

J happily helped me get rid of the last leftovers from christmas, the gingerbread house.

The weekend

Weekend is over, christmas is put into boxes again and down in the cellar. Ordinary monday are here with some sun and LIGHT. Must find the strenght to go to the studio and start drawing, but first I need to finish the book I´m designing. Perhaps I´ll go there on thursday.

Nothing but trash

Sometimes inspiration is gone. Worst is when I know what I want to draw, in my head, and the hands can´t get it right. Last couple of late nights I have struggled with my markers, and this night it continues.

First day at work!

Graphic design infront of the computer all day long, with Angelica and Hellmark as company. Tomorrow work and then weekend again!

2010 in images

2010 was a good year. Some of the highlights: we moved and renovated with good help from our familys, I got my studio (next to Alexandra) togather with Karin, I got my first public comission, the kids turned five and Julform became reality.

2011 is coming. My aim this year is to get an agent, make pattern for a great producer and spend more time with my family.

Great ideas!

Like the big helper he is he decided to help nature from getting hurt when the ice melt and drop down very hard. He said: the ground will probably get hurt if I don´t get rid of all of them all. Then he diecided to build an ice sculpture.
Last cuple of days I´ve been amazed of the strength of the kids ideas and how paitient they can be when they are doing something that they like.

Day trip
