A cuple of years ago I made these brooches (is that the proper word?) for the christmasmarket at my school. Looking at them now they are kind of sexy... and I can assure thats not what I had in mind! Still, I liked making them, perhaps time for a second round...
Today we made gingerbread biscuits. it´s a bit early, I know... it´s not even december. But it was fun:)

The latest issue of Elle interiör was really nice. Especially this page with Emmas textile "stäpphöna" (produced by Svenskt tenn). And the vase from Ernst Billgren I wouldn´t mind either.
The weather is typical for Gothenburg, rainy and windy. I long for snow. For the first time ever I chose tea over coffee, all because of this rooibos tea with orange taste.
This week at shool we are doing workshops in mixed groups, staff and students. My group is doing filmmusic to An andalusian dog. It´s gonna be an perfomance on friday. They showed us this as inspiration... This will be an interesting week.
Today I´m listening to this and taking care of a very messy home. Kids are sleeping and for the first day in weeks I will not draw at all. Yesterday I finished all of the originals for the trays so on monday they will be sent to press. ( I will show you the result instead of the drawings.)

It´s in the middle of the night and finallly I got this pattern almost right in photoshop. Klick for bigger! The idea was to make a drawing for a tray but then along the jurney I came up with the not so bright idea to make a pattern instead. Atleast I got a taste of what coming weeks will be like when I have to transfer my handdrawn wallpapers into the computer!
First bird was a drawing I made for midsummer, u can se it here. People seem to like it so I thought it would be perfect as a tray. The thing is that it´s to small. I could make it bigger in the computer but then the shapes would be all ruined. And there is also the fact that one of my teacher said that the bird had a different "language" then the rest of the drawing.Therefore I decided to copy myself.
Today I´m taking a break from my wallpaper project and staying at home and drawing just for fun. And it´s so much fun:)
Today we are taking it slow. Eating leftover cookies and drawing and the kids are playing with their new toys.
Today the kids turned 3! It was a big day for all of us, me and the man had alot of preparations to make and the kids where all exited and didn´t even take a nap. It was a great party:)
I bought myself some new markers. tryed to find the ones that Fruenswerk recomended but it seems as if they only have 4 different kinds all over gothenburg. I found the copiccopys over at designtorget and they where quite cheap. 
Yesterday I meet Karin for fika and shopping. She found this really nice card, made by Jan Stenmark. The text says something like this: "In her dreams she could fly. In her dreams she could reach the spots that she never ever had been able to clean before." (klick for bigger)

Today I managed to get alot of drawing done, feels good! (Perhaps) I can se an ending for this project after all. Thanks to yesterdays scolarship I can print on real wallpaper:)
