Painkillercoctail!

My upper chest is out of order, I don´t know whats going on but it sure hurts alot. Bought alot of magazines and some painkillers and now all I need is time to relax. Perhapas on monday?

Pillowcases!

Yesterday the pillowcases arrived (from tobex) and in the studio Kristin is working really hard with the curtains, it´s printed on slippery velvet so it´s not just not to sew and expect it to be done. No, it´s moving, moving again then  again a little bit wrong and then finally perfect. Thank you kristin, for handling me going crazy and sticking to the plan! And for being my friend.

Some days later.

My ambition was to blog about the bookfair on saturday, somehow something happend (we are moving our bedroom into our livingroom and buildt 3 new wardrobes) and now it´s tuesday, the days are just flying away.

First fair find, this book, "Most beloved sister" by Astrid Lindgren, illustrated by Hans Arnold. What a beauty!

Jan Lööf

I visited Jan Lööfs exhibition at the art museum yesterday, well worth visiting! I liked his early work the best, it´s very clever and filled with interesting details. His film about "skrot Nisse" is absolutely fantastic, both the making of it, the sets (!) and the dolls and all the details... and the story!

A cuple of hectic days have passed. Yesterday I became a student again, if only for one semester. I will be taking a course in making a childrens book and I am really exited. Today I visited Göteborg book fair and Now I am so filled with inspiration so all I can do is go to sleep! I will blog about the fair tomorrow!

Squares

Yesterday I was in the studio for a shortie and I started to pack my things for the big move. Found these very old drawings that I didn´t like much at the time they where drawn, but now I kind of like the squares. Perhaps a new beginning?
I was alone with the kids this week, tomorrow J is coming back. I miss him, I miss having someone talking to and taking decisions with.

So f***ing studpid!

The other week I realized that I have written the wrong email address on my buisnesscard. I have been handing it out at every portfoliomeeting I have been to the last two years. Yesterday I emailed the address at the card and asked if she got any emails that where aimed for me. Now she replied and said yes, alot of them, for a long time. And she delited them since they kept coming.

Nextproject will be with bugs. But first the prints will come back as textiles and they will be turned  into produts and then the project is really done!

Chaos is my middle name.

Julform chaos is going on in photoshop when I´m making a kitchen towel. Asking myself, as always, should I make it easy or hard for myself? Stupid (as always) to even consider making it easy, I´m not the type that make things easy. But this time I could... I just take last years poster (red one above) and transform it to a teatowel...

Sunday spent at sprend.se

I´m sending the last files to the printer right now.  Tomorrow I´ll be preparing for a teaching my graphic design student (evening school) for the first time this semester. Tuesday I´ll be having a meeting about a graphic profile I might be doing later this year. Wednesday I´ll be writing an application for projectmoney for Julform, Thursday I will start moving my studio and Friday I´m teaching my 7:th graders. What a week!

Last hand?

I´m spending my days in the sofa (I have realized it´s best for my back after sveral weeks at a chair): editing, editing, editing. Yesterday I sat there between 8:15 in the morning and 1:30 in the night. My indexfinger is hurting and there is no time for cooking so I´m eating yoghurt, cottagecheese (so nice with banana, raw cacaonibs, honey and walnuts) and drinking lots of coffe. And listening to the radio, streaming sommar.

I´ve got some fantastic news, but I´ll save them for later, photoshop is calling for a final strike!

Angry girl!

Big trauma last week when V decided to cut her hair, the result was that one side was 10 cm shorter then the other so I had to even it a bit. She was soooooo angry and the worst part for her was that it was she that had started it.

Working with the final adjustments in photoshop and designing some "friends" to the two patterns. I can see the light...

Happy!

Today I recived my test.prints from Tobex, it´s printed on velvet and on Trevira. I am more then pleased with the result, the colors turned out good and the lines are almost perfect. Almost. Tuesday morning is deadline, until then I need to work day and night.
