Test printing

I Finally printed what I edited in photoshop and I am happily surpriced with the result. I was nervous about the colors and that it might look dirty but the only thing that I had to compromize with was the background color. I would have prefered a yellow shade as in the original dawing (to the left)

Beneath surface

Pattern nubmber two is now being edited. First pattern, above surface, took me about 60 more hours then expected, mostly because I treated white as a colour and the white spaces needed to be perfectly clean since it will be digital printed. It will be interesting to see how much time this one takes...

Deep water!

I´m out on deep water right now! Have got a clue about how to make my repatitions work togather (this one and the one called beneath surface) but I´m not sure that it will work. And it´s the first time I make that kind of repetitions. If you want to see this bigger, just klick it. (it´s not done yet, still alot of photoshopping to do)

Pre school, construction site

Visited the construction site yesterday, I was happy that everything was so white. My patterns are quite colorful and will make a nice contrast. I´m looking forward at being done... soon there.

Time

This week my kids turned into school kids. No more kindergarden, not babies anymore. Ia it possible to stop time?

Editing!

When I draw I am very concentrated on my lines but still there is so much editing to do in photoshop. Can´t belive the time it´s taking!

Stuck in Photoshop!

Lots of stuff to unpack and lots of drawings to edit in photoshop. So much cutting during this project that I even developed a new method based upon cutting.
When I went to art school and was focused on painting one of my favourite colours was cadmium orange, in this project cadmium orange came to be a big part, surprice for me!

Home

Home again, wouldn´t have mined staying another month, country life is fantastic, summer house is fantastic. Just love that everyone can do their own stuff and the kids get along and play like they never do in our four room apartment in the concrete djungle. 
Yesterday was my 36:th birthday.
