Yesterdays pattern freak

These days I´m trying to figure out everything there is to know about patterns. It´s really a great idea to work on post-it paper, you can easily see the pattern change in different directions.
In these photos u can see how morning turns into afternoon and then evening. And then final destruction: why did I have to put the birds there? Well, thats life! (and I´m happy it only was on post-it´s!)

This I like. Makes Timorous Beasties look like a copy cat. Sometimes it´s a thin line between art and design. But still, I like both.

New high-heels

Today I bought myself a pair of high heels. I can´t even remember when I had that kind of shoes the last time, perhaps when I was 18... But this pair was only 100:- so it´s ok to fail walking with them. My daughter loved them at first sight, so atleast someone will use them. They are really kind of summerish, so I have one year to practise!

I really like the pixlepatterns that Cristian Zuzunaga makes.

Not a heartframe anymore.

Now the drawing have changed again. It´s not a heartframe anymore. Still i think I have to fill all of it. Today we had a Myrkott meeting and it went great.We are working on a new print and it´s so fun to draw together (and eat also)!

Lost in my mess

Today I´m looking for one of my moleskins that I´ve lost somewhere in the apartment. I hope I didn´t throw it away by accident! Making strange drawings and sipping coffee and feeling a bit down cause of my mess. Really need that sketchbook bad.

Autumn is coming

There is a smell of autumn everywhere. Some parts of me like it, some parts gets sad. But I do enjoy autumn colours.

Timorous Beasties

These wallpaper from Timorous Beasties makes me wanna put even more wallpaper on my walls!

Heart frame

I started this drawing in one corner (see my post a cuple of days ago) and after some hours I understood that it was some kind of frame I was drawing. But a heart frame, come on! I think I will fill it. To see it bigger, just click it.

Pillow fight

Last night the kids had a fight with pillows. They where jumping, laughing and screaming, impossible to stop.

Rag carpets

I´m really a fan of carpets made of rag and it´s traditional in sweden. This one I spotted in the window of "Bohusslöjd" and I sure wouldn´t mind putting it on my kitchen floor.

I also like pappelina carpets.

And just one last thing, last night I saw this movie. SO GREAT:)

This day

Today I meet with Pernilla for lunch and she gave me those nice lula crabfish cards. Lula: so many talented people in one website!
Then I finally sent in my scribble for the Telia competition.
And sent my man to get me more pens, right now I´m a staedtler junkie. And with new pens I could finally continue on my last drawing.

weekend mess!

This weekend was alot about cleaning the apartment. And some work. And some play. And heavy raining outside!

Today we visited an amusementpark. To be honest: I hate amusementparks! What is the purpose? Overcrowded, expensive and dangerous. But the kids enjoy it. And the man, he loves it!

Summer is over?

This morning the kids set of for kindergarten again, after 5 weeks vacation. The flat is empty, messy and calm. And my working table is overloaded...

Rainy days

Thank you for all your comments on my last post. The ice-cream was good but the camera didn´t catch it.
It´s raining outside and I feel bored. No inspiration for nothing.

Birtday

Today it´s my birthday, I turn 33. Instead of cake I will make some Italian ice-cream. I really enjoy baking, the cake on the photo I made for the kids second birthday.
