Moleskine giveaway.

You have all heard about my love for Moleskines and apparently the word spread!
...some weeks ago I was contacted by the web department of cronicle books and they asked me if I would like to host a Moleskine giveaway on my blog!

Of course I said yes!
Last week I got a package, all the way from San Francisco, filled with lovley moleskines. Can you belive it?
So now you got the chance to lay your hands on either a "desk calendar 2010" or an amazing "colour a month daily planner in 12 notebooks". I´ve got two of each so there will be 4 winners.
I will spice it up by also adding one of my newly arrived cuttingboards/potholders (to keep hot pans on) in each package, the winners can choose the pattern they prefer from the 9 different ones I got.
------------
So, all you have to do to get a shot at winning is to leave a comment on this post, I would love it if you told me what you like to read about here, what would make you come back/makes you come back?
If you also link to this post on your own blog you will get another shot at winning.
So, a total of 2 chances to win! The lottery is open for anyone from any part of the world!

I will draw 4 winners next sunday (the 6:th) at midnight. First 2 gets the desk calendar+potholder, last 2 gets the daily planners+potholder. The winners will be choosed randomly by a random number service and announced here on next monday, the 7:th of december.

Spread the word, and good luck:)

Elves evening meeting!

"Saturday candy became more or less a "rule", or Recommendation, during the fifties and sixties in sweden. While limiting the candy eating to one day a week the caries couldn´t damage the childrens teeths as heavy as before."
- It works! And it also works well for my sweet teeth!

Gun hip, Swollen lip has a great give!

Spira 4

Today I had a presentation and discussion about my Spira time so far. To visualize my goals and how I worked I have used this model of a swimmingpool... and I´m swimming against myself! (klick it to be able to read)
It was at a meeting wih David Stiernholm the idea came up and I must say that it helps alot to visualize my goals and see how far in the process I am! If you have the chance to go to a lecture with David I would truly recommend it, it was great!

Today, yesterday and yesterweek.

From my cellphone. Wish the dress on the top photo was mine, but no:( In värmland all the trees where filled with berries but no leaves, kind of strange.
------------------
Today I had two good meetings. First with mr perswall and then with sagaform (with Karin!). I think my presentation went really well this time, I feel more relaxed in the presentation situation now. Interesting to see what the future brings!

Play

Just playing around in illustrator with some shapes im working with, having fun:) I like the tracing tool but can never use it when I actually work cause I feel the lines get so different. By now you know how important my lines are to me!
Anyone sitting on some good knowledge about the tracing tool, how can it trace more accurate?

Göteborg Daily

Linda runs Göteborg daily and is also a part of the same spira project as me. If you are interested in what happens in Göteborg, take a look!

Tomorrow I´m going to my 3:rd and 4:th portfolio presentation, jihaa!

Enjoying work!

The book on the top image I borrowed from karin (who is back in blogland) I really liked it. I have read quite a few of the books about patterns and printing and this was one of the best so far. Only available in swedish though, here.
Karin and I are collaborating in a project and today I got to use my new lightning table and I spent the afternoon drawing. It´s been MONTHS since I drawed a whole afternoon. Welcome back creativity!
--------
I said I would post on last weeks weekword. I didn´t. Have a look here to see who actually did what they said they would do!

Weekend

V and I enjoyed our Värmland weekend. I love to come home and catch up with things and people. Everytime everything feels a bit smaller and further away, but still really close in my heart.

Up´s and down´s

I feel kind of defeated. Alot of the thing I set up to do failed. After Spira is over, in february, I will list every attempt and tell you everything. Right now I feel like I am off the horse, laying on the ground and tonight I don´t have the strenght to jump back on it. But tomorrow I´m on again!

Sunday 15 November 2009

the weekend is over

Last night I was drawing a bumble bee, but after five minutes I felt like drawing a worm instead so I left the beedrawing. This morning my son found it one the livingroom table and asked me if he could help me finish my drawing. He did, and he also drawed a bigger, more frightening and angrier bumble bee thats actually the smaller ones mum. AND some worms. I love his creativity!
